BAHA’s Chicken Ramen

If you have been listening to Jack on the Lake District Radio then you’ll know he talked about how to make our spectacular BAHA Chicken Ramen. Below we wrote up a bit more about the process so you can try and make this at home. Give it a go!


What’s included in our chicken RAmen


1tsp white/red miso

300ml water
1/4 bok choi
Pickled red onion
1 x Lime for juice and wedge
50g ramen noodles
1 x Egg
Soy sauce
Seaweed flakes
Chicken breast

How to cook it

Soft boiled egg, 6 minutes, run under cold iced water then peel. Leave to marinate in soy sauce for 30 mins until you get a brown colouration.
Heat water and miso together in a pan. Do not bring to the boil. Add pre-cooked ramen noodles, heat through. Add pre blanched bok choi, add half lime juice and season to taste. Add boiled egg, heat gently till warm then plate.
Cook chicken breast in the pan until golden brown. Finish in the oven at 180° for 17-20 mins.
Slice then place on top of noodles. Finish with a lime wedge and seaweed sprinkles and you’re then done!
Add all contents, garnish with coriander and enjoy!
